My initial reaction is much like yours. However, none of it was "huh, what's that about" but more UI issues. I think they'll sort this out after beta.

Chrome is pretty slick (using it right now). I was going to write up a post on it, but you said exactly what I was thinking Eric. It does 'feel like an app' which I like a lot. I also enjoy the fact that it defaults to giving you more screen real estate, that is something I wondered why more browsers didn't do. Anyway, certainly the browser wars are hot, and we're the ones who win ;).

I agree. I think a crowded space forces more innovation. I know a lot of people who think otherwise - but I feel like users win. It should be an interesting year for what comes next. It is also interesting to think that Chrome has been in development for 2 years.

there are so many advantages and features with Chrome, such as it's speed, for example; now if only they would take care it's flighty cookie management...

Chrome will be able to compete in more decent terms than Firefox was ever to do against IE. Chrome rules, it is like Firefox, but with better minds behind. I hope FF disappears and every effort is set up to continue the good line of Chrome.

Absolutely rocks in every way. Google has once again proven that it has what is needed to deliver great products. it’s a decent browser…download time may be a dash slower than other browsers but the app load time, smooth rendering, space utilization etc are great.
